OVERVIEW

Meeting Goals and Objectives:

The goal of this international course is to update dermatologists and registrars in dermatology on the most critical and challenging aspects of dermoscopy for the effective management of pigmented skin lesions and the early diagnosis of melanoma.

The learning objectives of this meeting are:

  • To diagnose and, more importantly, to manage pigmented skin lesions more effectively
  • To correlate clinical and dermoscopic criteria with corresponding histopathology
  • To reach the correct management decision in the most frequent clinical situations

One session of this course will be dedicated to the significance and implication of in-vivo reflectance confocal microscopy (RCM) for non-invasive high resolution imaging of the skin, with special emphasis on practical applications.
